JOB TITLE: Trades Specialist
CLASSIFICATION: Admin. Exempt/Salary
DEPARTMENT: Compliance/Administration
REPORTS TO: CEO, Comp. Mgr. & Dir. HR
POSITION TYPE: Full-Time
SALARY RANGE: DOE
POSITION SUMMARY:
In this position the incumbent will service brokerage accounts, brokerage account systems access, and to process trades. This position also maintains office computer technology, as well as the corporate website.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for opening and servicing brokerage accounts
Order processing
Keeping records of trades
Company website maintenance
Network and system administration
Resolving various technological issues
Miscellaneous special projects.
Administrative:
Scanning documents
Faxing documents
Making bank deposits
SUPERVISION REQUIRES/GIVEN:
This position is directly supervised by the CEO, Assistant Compliance Manager and HR Director. This position provides some supervision to outside vendors depending on the project base.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
MUST HAVE:
High school diploma or GED required, AA/BA preferred
Minimum licensing requirement: Series 11 (Recommended: Series 7) (Highly desired: Series 24)
STRONGLY PREFER:
Minimum 2 years experience in financial securities industry
ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Be able to lift 30 pounds
Be able to perform all other office related tasks
Be able to stand and sit for extended periods of time
