Job Summary: Monitor, analyze and provide recommendations regarding financial performance of business units.

Essential Job Functions:

1.Provides management with planning and control information by assembling and analyzing financial data; making pricing recommendations; developing and maintaining financial models; providing forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; providing information on results against targets.

2.Achieves financial results by maintaining financial budgets; conducting financial analyses.

3.Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and results.

4.Evaluates projected financial results of undertaking new projects by analyzing proposals; recommending courses of action.

5.Achieves corporate financial objectives by forecasting return on investment results; assists in preparation, monitoring and deployment of budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances including post implementation reviews; initiating corrective action.

6.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.

7.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


Qualifications:

1.Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

2.Requires 7 - 10 years experience working as an accountant or financial analyst, preferably in the credit card or financial industry.

3.Must be computer literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
